Our Mission Statement
"Training and Inspiring Dancers and Teachers of Tomorrow"
To provide the best classical ballet instruction, utilizing the internationally recognized Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) program, in
an atmosphere that promotes self-esteem, encouragement, safety, and enjoyment.
Our Program
Rachel’s Ballet is a unique school of dance that provides the best possible classical ballet training. In addition to classical ballet,
auxiliary classes in contemporary dance and jazz are offered.
- Member Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)
- Classes are based on the renowned Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) teaching system, the most comprehensive, relevant
program of classical ballet available. The RAD program provides a standard of learning regardless of where instruction
occurs; students who move from one country (or state) to another can enroll in a new RAD school and continue with the
same syllabus - Each RAD syllabus is age appropriate to match the abilities of the students for that grade level
- Small class size enables instructors to provide personal attention to individual students
- Classes offer opportunities for learning and advancement through the use of annual RAD examinations. Students are
evaluated objectively by RAD examiners who travel internationally - Annual Showcase in a professional facility provides valuable performance experience
- Rachel's Ballet staff members are RAD certified instructors with years of professional dance and teaching experience to
ensure quality instruction. One of our instructors is a RAD Certified Examiner. Please refer to our Faculty web page for
individual instructor resumes - Classes follow the school year beginning in September and ending in June. Our school year tuition is an annual cost, not a
per class or per month cost. There are ten (10) monthly tuition installments that make up the annual tuition. - Summer Session classes are also available. Summer session tuition is due at the time of Summer Session enrollment.
Royal Academy of Dance
- The Royal Academy of Dance is an international organization based in London, England
- It is the largest, most influential dance teacher training and examining body for classical ballet in the world
- The RAD syllabus-based program is divided into grades. It is advisable for students to pass an examination in one grade
before progressing on to the next - The vocational program, also syllabus-based, is for students continuing on to professional training
- Only teachers who have been through Royal Academy training are certified and may enter students for RAD examinations

homes and transportation - Our studios have raised wooden shock-absorbing floors (sprung floors) designed specifically for professional dance,
featuring the most current technology for the well-being, safety and health of our dancers - Parking facilities are close to studios, well-lit and maintained for safety
- Studios are conveniently located for easy access
- The studio atmosphere is pleasant, encouraging and conducive to learning
